Fayetteville and the surrounding communities in northwest Arkansas work together to provide a continuum of care to all communities in northwest Arkansas including southwest Missouri and eastern part of Oklahoma. Healthcare services offer include neurosurgery, women's health, home health, senior care, rehabilitation, oncology, mental health and orthopedics.
Fayetteville is home to Washington Regional Medical Center, Veterans Health Care Systems of the Ozarks, and UAMS-Area Health Education Centers. The UAMS has just recently moved to a new facility and with an expanded location, the UAMS is poised to train more physicians and allied professionals such as radiologists and pharmacists.
