The Chamber offers programs that are designed to develop and educate emerging leaders. Through these programs, we are able to help not only individuals but the community at large.
LEADERSHIP FAYETTEVILLE
WHAT IS LEADERSHIP FAYETTEVILLE?
The mission of the Leadership Fayetteville program is to produce a continuous stream of concerned, motivated, and educated individuals of diverse talents and interests eager to pursue and assume leadership roles and volunteer opportunities within the Fayetteville community.
Helping learn about numerous segments of the community; Developing an effective network of contacts; Enhancing their desire to eagerly pursue and assume leadership roles within the Fayetteville community.
The Leadership Fayetteville program began in 1986 with the first class graduating in 1987. Since then 400 have graduated from the program and many have taken leadership roles in the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce and the Fayetteville community.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
The Leadership Fayetteville program consists of nine full-day training sessions. The sessions begin in September and continue through May. Graduation will also be held in May. To graduate each participant will be allowed to miss no more than one session.

HOW DO I APPLY?
Any member of the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce is eligible to apply for the Leadership program. A formal application must be completed and returned to the Chamber Office.
2012-2013 Class XXVI Leadership Application
WHAT IS THE SELECTION PROCESS?
The Leadership Fayetteville selection committee will review applications. The class size is limited. Criteria for class selection include the following:
* Chamber investor
* Resides or works in Fayetteville
* Expresses interest in assuming or maintaining leadership roles within the Fayetteville Community
* Written attendance/participation commitment by employer and participant
* Letter of recommendation
WHAT IS THE COST?
The tuition fee for each participant is $950.00 and must be paid at time of selection.

LEADERSHIP LINK ALUMNI PROGRAM
The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce is excited about the new program that will bring graduates of Leadership Fayetteville together. The Leadership Fayetteville program has been in existence for 25 years and in that time has graduated over 450 leaders. The hope of the committee who oversees this program is that through the Leadership Link program graduates will continue to grow personally through networking opportunities, volunteerism and educational programs.

TEEN LEADERSHIP
WHAT IS TEEN LEADERSHIP "X"PERIENCE
The mission of the Teen Leadership "X"Perience program is to provide a program which will educate participants on community issues and the processes of decision making, planning and teamwork.
The Teen Leadership "X"Perience program began in 1999 with the first class graduating in 2000. More than 100 Fayetteville High School students have graduated from the program.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
The Teen Leadership "X"Perience program consists of seven full-day training sessions. Participants are also required to work on an individual and group community project. The sessions begin in October and continue through April. Graduation will also be held in April. To graduate each participant will be allowed to miss no more than one session.

You may pick-up an application from your Counselor's Office. Simply complete the application and turn it in to your Counselor's Office or the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce office.
