Event Description:
The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) kicks off its new season under the baton of acclaimed Music Director Paul Haas. The Masterworks I Sunday-matinee concert, features Wagner’s rousing Tannhäuser Overture. Concertmaster Winona Fifield joins the orchestra as guest soloist in Barber’s romantic Violin Concerto before the performance wraps up with Brahms’ Symphony No. 2 in D Major. This is going to be a high-octane event. (Sponsored by The Willard & Pat Walker Charitable Foundation.) The five-concert season includes classical masterpieces and exciting pops lineups.
