• Spiral Wetland is an outdoor public artwork created by Eco-artist Stacy Levy. Spiral Wetland is a series of floating raft-like structures planted with native wetland species and will be installed on Lake Fayetteville near the dam. Opening May 12, the artwork will begin on April 22 and be on display through the end of the year and is designed to highlight the importance of water treatment to maintain a healthy environment. Levy will present a lecture on her work at Crystal Bridges on April 28.

Opera in the Ozarks celebrates its 63rd season. This year’s repertoire includes Madama Butterfly by Puccini, Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore (Elixir of Love) and Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance. The four-week season begins June 21 and runs through July 19. The outdoor venue of Inspiration Point (located on Hwy. 62, 5 miles west of Eureka Springs) lends itself to an intimate look at each of these acclaimed operas – an opportunity seldom experienced.
