Students from Fayetteville, Elkins, Prairie Grove, Lincoln, Farmington, West Fork, and Greenland school districts will participate and compete in a five day workshop that will introduce and encourage the entrepreneurship experience. Students will participate in curriculum activities to learn what it takes to be an entrepreneur, as well as gain hands-on experience in planning a venture. Visits to the Arkansas Research &amp;amp; Technology Park, the Iceberg CoWorking Space, and Northwest Arkansas Community College will demonstrate how entrepreneurs think and work. The Entrepreneur Boot Camp will end with a competition on the final day. There will be a grand prize cash award for seed money to put their plan to fruition, plus support from local professionals and consultants. First and second runner up will also receive a cash prize.&lt;br /&gt;

Scott has backpacked on all of the Ozark Highland Trail, has made several solo backpacks in the Ozark National Forest, and completed numerous treks on the Lower Buffalo Wilderness Area.
     The workshop is geared primarily towards adults/families.  This is a “how to” introduction with gear show-and-tell, slides, and recommended resources.  Topics covered will include: equipment basics, how to get in shape, what to expect on a backpack trip, maps and planning tools, preparing backpack food, dealing with emergencies, wildlife encounters, and how to keep a clean camp.  Participants need not bring anything but a note pad and pen.
