On Dec. 11, the Northwest District of the Arkansas Water Works & Water Environment Association, met at the Chancellor Hotel and presented awards of recognition. Ed Clark from Fayetteville's Pinnacle Foods, LLC, was one of those recognized. He was awarded the Pretreatment Professional Wastewater Award. The mission of the association, formed in 1950, is to encourage the education and licensing of its members in the field of water and wastewater systems and to provide a venue by which the members can share information, obtain training, and improve the overall standing of our profession within the communities.
The Fayetteville Chamber, in partnership with SourceGas and AT&T, is pleased to announce and invite the public to our annual Legislative Forums scheduled for 2015. This annual, bi-weekly event offers our state legislators an opportunity to return to their respective areas and share with constituents about what is occurring in our State Capitol, throughout the 90th General Assembly.
The forums are open to the public and occur every other Friday, beginning on Friday, January 23 from 4:00-5:00pm. The forums will be held in the Chamber offices - 123 W. Mountain Street, Fayetteville, AR 72701.
The programs is offered as a panel format set to last one hour, with each legislator in attendance giving an opening statement with questions from attendees to follow.
