Here at the Chamber, we endorse and applaud public art in the community. While the City works to beautify these utility boxes in the community, the Chamber partnered with Fayetteville High School to create public art murals annually for five years. This will give our younger generation the opportunity to tell their story about living in Fayetteville while cultivating the culture of the arts. Fayetteville High School is already active in the public art scene, creating their "Where Dreams are Made" piece on the utility box at the Arkansas Avenue and Dickson Street intersection.
If you are a local artist interested in painting a mural on a utility box, you can submit your proposal to the Keep Fayetteville Beautiful Committee. You can reach out to Brian Pugh at bpugh@fayetteville-ar.gov or Cameron Baker at cbaker@fayettevillear.com.
