"One of my favorite things about working at Tacos 4 Life is the moment when a customer believes in the mission, and it's not just about good food even though we provide that," said Tacos 4 Life team member Andrew Washington.
For every meal purchased, Tacos 4 Life donates 22 cents to Feed My Starving Children, a nonprofit dedicated to :feeding God's children hungry in body and spirit."
Tacos 4 Life has two Conway locations and recently opened its Fayetteville location in September. The Conway locations donate meals to Swaziland, Africa while the Fayetteville location donates meals to Honduras.
Feed My Starving Children sends the meals, or MannaPacks, to Children's Cup, an on-ground organization in Honduras that distributes the food to CarePoints. A meal Provides Children with nourishment, but also an education, trade skills and hope.
"It has been amazing to see our customers experience the food and join us in the fight against childhood hunger," said store leader Justin Young. "Also, seeing our team work hard daily to provide great food and excellent customer service so that we can raise as many meals possible makes my job worth it."
Tacos 4 life uses the tortilla as a canvas to create fresh, fun and innovative tacos that range from comforting and familiar to bold and adventurous. They currently have 20 different tacos on their menu ranging from the Grilled Chicken taco, wrapped in a puffy tortilla and drenched in their house queso, to the Ono Shrimp taco covered with a pineapple cream sauce and sprinkled with toasted coconut.
"we are excited to see how many meals we can raise in another month of business," said Austin Samuelson, owner. "The Meal 4 Meal Mission wouldn't be possible without the amazing customers we have been blessed with in Fayetteville and Conway."
