WASHINGTON COUNTY TEEN LEADERSHIP

Washington County Teen Leadership in Fayetteville, AR

Teen Leadership Program for Washington County

The purpose of the Teen Leadership Experience is to expose high school juniors to the many services, resources, organizations and businesses that make Fayetteville and the Northwest Arkansas area unique. Each month teens will attend presentations, tour facilities and interact with representatives from businesses, non-profit organizations and public offices to help learn about the ways they may become involved in their community both now and in the future. The Teen Leadership Experience takes place from September to April during the school day. Students who attend Lincoln High School, Prairie Grove High School, Farmington High School, West Fork High School, Elkins High School or Greenland High School may apply for the Washington County Teen Leadership Experience in the spring of their sophomore year. Applications will be available for the 2024-25 school year in late March 2024. Please contact Jill Abshier, jabshier@fayettevillear.com or 479-345-8956 for more information.
